'Seeking Solutions'

Australia’s Inaugural Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Conference

5-7 September 2001, Gold Coast, Qld, Australia

From 5th to 7th September 2001, the Combined Women’s Crisis Services Gold Coast Inc. hosted Australia’s Inaugural Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault conference “Seeking Solutions” on the Gold Coast, Queensland (Australia).

As the Combined Women’s Crisis Services Gold Coast Inc. had no funding available to publish proceedings of the conference, Senior Sergeant Dale Murray, State Domestic Violence Coordinator, Queensland Police Service, agreed to collate presenters’ papers on behalf of the conference organisers and make available on the World Wide Web (WWW).

Senior Sergeant Murray wishes to acknowledge and thank the presenters who have kindly supplied copies of their paper and agreed to have them published on the WWW.  Special acknowledgment is made of Dr. Lesley Laing, Director of the Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse, for agreeing to publish the papers on this website.

All papers received by Senior Sergeant Murray have been included on the website.  The website will be updated as further papers are provided by presenters.
